Kansas State will play Charlotte in the first round and either Georgetown or Northeastern in the second round of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off in this November in San Juan.

Tournament organizers announced the complete bracket for the tournament Tuesday morning. The Wildcats’ opening game will tip off at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 21 on ESPNU. K-State’s next game will be at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 22 on ESPN2 or ESPNU if it wins and at 11 a.m. on ESPNU or ESPN3 if it loses in round one.
On the final day, Nov. 24, the Wildcats will then face one of four teams on the other side of the bracket — Long Beach State, Michigan, Florida State or VCU. The championship is scheduled for 6 p.m. on ESPN2. The seventh-place game is at 10:30 a.m. on ESPN3, the fifth-place game is at 1 p.m. on ESPNU and the consolation is at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
Northeastern won the Colonial Athletic Association regular-season title and returns three starters. K-State has never played Georgetown or Charlotte. The Wildcats finished third in the 2009 Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
• The K-State women’s basketball team will take a 10-day, three-game trip to Italy from Aug. 9-19.
In addition to 10 practices to prepare for the trip, allowed under NCAA rules every four years, the Wildcats will play the Italy All-Stars on Aug. 11 in Como, the Vicenza All-Stars on Aug. 12 in Venice and ASD Bull Basket on Aug. 17 in Rome, following a stop in Florence.
