Chiefs training camp 2013: By the numbers

Allen Wright, Chiefs Head Equipment Manager's training-camp checklist:

1,600 pairs of cleats

1,000 shower towels

300 footballs

25 pieces of field equipment

90 players

40 coaches and support staff

50 additional Chiefs staff members

It's all loaded into four semi-tractor trailer trucks and four box trucks (Except for the people. Most of them take buses)

Training camp details

Training camp officially starts Friday, July 26 with a 3:30 p.m. practice. It ends with the club’s final practice at 8:15 a.m Aug. 14.

Beginning July 26, all practices will be open to the public. Indoor practices are closed. Groups of players will sign autographs following each practice session.

Unless otherwise noted, outdoor training camp practices are free. Missouri Western charges a $5 parking fee per vehicle per day.

The first practice of camp will feature a full-team autograph session following the 3:30 p.m. practice. Missouri Western will charge $5 admission. Children 3 and under are free.

The Chiefs “American Family” Fun Day is Saturday, Aug. 3. Admission is free and the entire team will sign autographs following practice.
