A 72-year-old Buckner woman with Alzheimer’s disease has been missing since Saturday morning and her family is asking for help in locating her.

Hellen Cook was last seen near Walnut Grove and Hensley Road in Benton County, Mo., at lake property she and her husband own southwest of Warsaw, Mo., near Truman Lake. She may be attempting to return to Buckner but without her medication she will be confused and unable to communicate.

Cook is nearly 5 feet tall and weighs 97 pounds. She was wearing jean shorts and a light-colored shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Benton County Sheriff’s Department at 660-438-9555.
