Defender Kevin Ellis, who was officially sent on loan to Sporting Kansas City’s USL Pro affiliate Orlando City SC on Thursday, has been recalled for the club’s match on Saturday against Toronto FC at Sporting Park.

Ellis started at right back and played all 90 minutes on Thursday during the Lions’ 2-1 win against the Charleston Battery at the Florida Citrus Bowl.

He is expected to be in the game-day 18 as a backup for outside backs Chance Myers and Seth Sinovic against Toronto FC, but he will return to Orlando City after the game.
