Experts always grouse about accuracy issues in Hollywood productions. Add the new Superman flick, Man of Steel, to the list.

National Weather Service officials are upset over the film showing people in the films version of Kansas getting out of their vehicles to take cover under an overpass as a tornado approaches. Kevin Costner, Supermans earthly father, gets swept to his death by the twister while his family remain safe under the overpass.
Wrong thing to do, weather officials have routinely told the public. Overpasses on roadways result in people being injured by flying debris in a tornado.
Folks have to realize that Hollywood takes liberties with the truth. People arent expected to try to leap tall buildings with a single bound or stop speeding bullets with their bodies after seeing the movie, either.
