Sangoo, 21, whom Sporting KC inked as a discovery signing in December, is returning to play in Spain. He was born in France, but played internationally at the youth level for Cameroon.
With the Lions, Sporting KCs first-year USL Pro affiliate, Songoo logged a team-high 1,030 minutes in 12 games. He also scored a goal April 19 against the Los Angeles Blues.
After recalling forward Dom Dwyer, who set a single-season USL Pro record with 15 goals in only 13 games, from his loan Thursday, only two Sporting KC players goalkeeper Jon Kempin and midfielder Christian Duke remain with Orlando City.
The loan agreement calls for Sporting KC to place four players with the Lions, but manager Peter Vermes indicated at Fridays press conference that he doesnt expect a decision on who will be sent to Orlando until next week.
