Mumford & Sons show at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater rescheduled for Sept. 20

Updated: 2013-06-26T02:17:50Z

Mumford & Sons will perform Sept. 20, a Friday, at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in Bonner Springs. The show was initially scheduled for June 17 but was postponed after bass player Ted Dwane had surgery for a blood clot in his brain. That show was sold-out.

Tickets for the June 17 show will be honored at the Sept. 20 show. Refunds are available at point of purchase. The show’s opening acts will be announced later. The Bonner Springs show was one of four rescheduled shows added to the end of the band’s Full English Tour, which starts in Toronto on Aug. 26. The other rescheduled shows are in New Orleans, Dallas and Woodlands, Texas.

Dwane had surgery the week of June 10. He was discharged from the hospital on June 13 and has been recuperating at his home in England. On the band’s web site, he recently posted a photo of himself, his surgical scar visible on the right side of his head. Under the photo, he wrote: “Bear with a sore head! Thanks so much for all the well wishing, it seems to be working! I’m home.”

Here's the band's release from its Facebook page:
