The star of the zoo isnt feeling too well. He is not on exhibit right now and is being treated with gastrointestinal medication, The Kansas City Star reports.
It appears he has a bear of a belly ache. Kids can identify with that. It doesnt feel good at all.
So, teachers and parents should encourage kids write get well notes and cards to Nikita and even include drawings and pictures. No, the zoos only male polar bear cant read, however, the well-wishes from a number of different people could focus a lot of positive, healing energy on the bear getting better soon.
Nikita is on a special diet of boiled beef in a holding area behind the exhibit area. Berlin, the zoos female polar bear is OK and on exhibit.
Zoo officials are closely monitoring Nikita and want him to get well soon. Kids' cards and letters could help.
