A Kansas City man was sentenced Tuesday to four years and nine months in prison for sex trafficking.

Tony A. Rogers Jr., 25, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kan., where he previously pleaded guilty to transporting a woman across state lines to engage in prostitution. He was arrested last year in a sting by police in Prairie Village, according to federal prosecutors.

A female co-defendant is scheduled to be sentenced later this month.
