On the way: Nine Inch Nails

Nine Inch Nails announced its fall tour of North America, and Kansas City is on the list.

The Tension 2013 Tour will come to the Sprint Center on Sept. 30, a Monday. Explosions in the Sky open. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. June 21, a Friday.

Kansas City will be the second stop on the 31-show tour. The tour opens in St. Paul, Minn., on Sept. 28. It also stops in St. Louis on Oct. 1

On Sept. 3, Nine Inch Nails, led by Trent Reznor, will release “Hesitation Marks,” its first recoring of new music in five years. The first single from the album, “Came Back Haunted,” was released today on iTunes. It is also streaming on the band’s web site. Fans who pre-order a copy of “Hesitation Marks” on iTunes receive a free copy of the single.

The album can also be pre-ordered at the Nine Inch Nail web site.
