In fact, the Central Library on 10th Street downtown will shut its doors at 4 p.m. to prepare for the event. Those who RSVPd earliest will get in first and be able to sit on the main floor.
The event starts at 6 p.m., but public affairs director Henry Fortunato suggests that people get there early, as parking will be limited.
If you didnt RSVP, dont come because its done you likely wont get in, he said.
Fortunato said that if everyone who RSVPd attends, this will be the largest event the library has hosted.
Weve had quite a few events that have seen 700 and 1,000 people come, so this is a trend that weve seen and gotten accustomed to, he said.
OConnors book, Out of Order, details the first female Supreme Court justices time on the bench.
