Thomas, one of 18 players to receive the honor, was 24-6 with a 1.16 ERA and 232 strikeouts in 198 1/3 innings as a senior, when she was also chosen Southeastern Conference pitcher of the year after being left off the preseason all-league team.
Thomas finished her Missouri career as the school leader in wins with 111. The Tigers’ season ended Friday in a two-game sweep by Washington in a NCAA Super Regional series at University Field.
