Second poll shows Obama’s approval numbers holding steady

Most Americans believe the IRS was deliberately harassing conservative groups.

Reporters are up in arms about the unprecedented snooping over how they do business..

Benghazi? The Obama crew is covering up important details of what happened there, too, Americans now think.

And yet....

A second major poll out in recent days shows President Barack Obama’s job approval holding steady.

Amazing? Perhaps.

It’s happened before. Remember Bob Dole sniping about Bill Clinton in the runup to the 1996 presidential election:

“Where’s the outrage?”

But the ABC News/Washington Post poll released Tuesday shows Obama holding at 51 percent positive, 44 percent negative.

What’s going on?

The economy is a little better. And a slim majority believes the president is focused on issues that matter to them.
