Evil genius

Evil genius

The evil genius, in his lair,

Had hoped to hire helpers; they’re

Of vital use to masterminds,

But few and far between, he finds.

These aides will help as such he deems

Assisting all his evil schemes.

Yet interviews produce a snare:

He finds the trait of malice rare.

For some were only passing bad;

A few were downright happy, glad!

But undeterred, he spent the time

To teach these newbies life of crime.

And how he boasts, in recent days

(While lacking academic letters)

That “every day, in every way,

I’m getting better abettors!”
