Red Door Grill is consulting with Kansas Citys Doug Frost, an American Master of Wine and Master Sommelier, on the wine list and it plans to have a range of price points. It also will have eight regionally crafted beers on draft and by the bottle.
The space formerly housed Paddy OQuigleys but it has been completely remodeled with reclaimed woods, high booths and a large patio with a fire pit.
The stone-topped bar also is surrounded by booths and includes a central communal table and nine large flat screen televisions.
Red Door Grill is the first concept by Red Door Restaurants, led by Jason Gleaton, operations partner, Gary Zancanelli, founding partner, and Gold, culinary partner. Red Door Restaurants has plans to open multiple neighborhood-oriented restaurants in the Kansas City market in the near term and then expand regionally.
