Kyle Smith and two relievers combined on a two-hitter as Class A Wilmington beat Potomac 4-1 on Tuesday.

Smith gave up the two hits in six innings, while walking three and striking out three. His ERA dropped to 2.01. In his six starts this season, Smith has not allowed a run three times. Opponents are hitting .207 against his and he has 34 strikeouts and 13 walks.
The Blue Rocks opened the scoring in the first when first baseman Daniel Mateo reached on an error. He took second on a single by right fielder Jorge Bonifacio, moved to third on a ground out and scored on a passed ball.
In the third Mateo doubled, moved to third on a single by Bonifacio and scored when third baseman Cheslor Cuthbert hit into a double play.
After the Nationals got a run back in the top of the seventh thanks to a three-base error by Bonifacio, Wilmington scored twice in their half. Mateo and Bonifacio walked and Cuthbert had an RBI double. Center fielder Lane Adams followed with a sacrifice fly to finish the scoring.
Bonifacio had three hits and the error, but he also threw out a runner at second base. His average is up to .297.
Class A Lexington
The Legends mustered just three singles (by Raul Mondesi, Humberto Arteaga and Alex Marquez) and lost 1-0 at Lakewood.
That ruined a strong start by Miguel Almonte, who allowed the run on five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. Chas Byrne threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief, allowing just a hit.
Lakewood scored in the seventh. With a runner at first and two outs, Almonte hit a batter and gave up a double.
Class AA Northwest Arkansas
The Naturals got just three hits in a 6-0 loss to Arkansas. Manny Pina (double), Orlando Claixte (single) and Roman Hernandez (single) had the hits for Northwest Arkansas.
Starter Noel Arguelles allowed three runs on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts in six innings. Reliever J.C. Sulbaran gave up three runs on three hits and a walk in one inning.
