Lindstrom joins Turnpike board

Dave Lindstrom, a former Johnson County commissioner and Kansas City Chief, has a new assignment.

He’s joining the board of the Kansas Turnpike Authority.

Lindstrom, appointed by Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback, will serve a four-year term. The Leawood resident takes the place of long-time board member Mary Turkington of Topeka, whose term had expired.
