The latest Ink magazine has a handy guide to this weekend’s Cinco de Mayo parades, festivals and parties. Here’s an appetizer, with info on six fiestas at local restaurants.

Cinco de Mayo

Where: Habanero’s Restaurant, 1008 S.E. Blue Parkway, Lee’s Summit

When: Sunday

What: Tent party starts at 11 a.m., drink specials and giveaways at 1 p.m., live music at 4 p.m.

Cinco de Mayo brunch

Where: Mestizo, 5270 W. 116th, Leawood

When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday

What: Indoor and outdoor dining

Cinco de Mayo brunch

Where: Port Fonda, 4141 Pennsylvania, Westport

When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday

What: Drink specials ($5 24-oz. Tecate cans and $10 Milagro margaritas) and a DJ from noon-6 p.m.

Cinco de Mayo

Where: El Patron Cocina and Bar, 2905 Southwest Blvd.

When: 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday

What: Live band and DJs

Cinco de Mayo celebration

Where: La Bodega, Southwest Boulevard and Leawood

When: Sunday

What: $5 carnita street tacos and drink specials

Quatro de Mayo

Where: Zocalo, 620 W 48th St.

When: 12 p.m. Saturday to 1:30 a.m. Sunday

What: Street fiesta with live music, DJs, mustaches and tequila.
