Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is quietly considering a presidential run in 2016, National Review reports.

If he makes the race, he would join a crowded field of potential candidates, including Rep. Paul Ryan, Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. Chris Christie, among others.
Cruz, though, would face a familiar problem — his birthplace.
The conservative was born in Canada. He will argue, though, that he is a “natural born citizen” because his mother was a citizen of the United States.
So. Here we go again.
