The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday presented its Ace Awards to four area business managers in recognition of diversity and multicultural networking.

This year’s recipients:

• Marvin Carolina Jr., vice president, corporate director of diversity, J.E. Dunn Construction Co.

• Leo Prieto, community health education manager, Truman Medical Centers.

• Kristi Ryujin, assistant vice chancellor for diversity initiatives, University of Missouri-Kansas City.

• Joseph Seabrooks, president, Metropolitan Community College–Penn Valley.

The Ace Award, according to the chamber, recognizes culturally diverse mid- to senior-level managers for “outstanding achievement in their industries, inspiring and mentoring others and making exceptional contributions to the success of their employers.”

The four were honored Tuesday at a reception at Union Station.
