Dozens arrested at sobriety checkpoint

Late Friday night and into early Saturday, Kansas City police and deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff Department stopped 366 vehicles for a sobriety check.

They arrested dozens of drivers.

Fourteen drivers were impaired, five drivers had suspended or revoked licenses, four drivers were ticketed for hazardous moving violations, one car had a minor in possession of alcohol, another car had marijuana and another car had drug paraphernalia.

One person was charged with hindering an officer, and 11 more people already had warrants in the system for their arrest .
