Burglars target Kansas City hookah lounge

Burglars made off with thousands of dollars in electronics, tobacco and 40 hookah pipes after breaking into a midtown Kansas City hookah lounge this weekend.

The break-in was reported Saturday evening at the Ali Baba Hookah Lounge, 3421 Broadway. A large hole was discovered in the rear wall of the business, police reported.

A loss of more than $25,000 in property was reported to police.
