Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint this weekend in Kansas City.
The checkpoint will in an area known for alcohol-related crashes or arrests and will run sometime between Friday and Sunday.
During the operation of the checkpoint, signs will alert motorists of the checkpoint. Officers will direct motorists to an area where they can determine if the driver is driving under the influence.
Those suspected of driving drunk will be arrested.
