Classes canceled after water main break in Lawson, Mo.

Updated: 2013-04-11T12:18:50Z

An early morning water main break has cut service to thousands of residents and canceled school in Lawson, Mo.

The Lawson School District has canceled classes for today because there is little or no water pressure in town.

The city northeast of Kearney has issued a boil order until at least Saturday.

The city on its website advises residents that they will have extremely low water pressure until the break is fixed and the water towers have had time to refill.
