Kenneth W. Vaughan, 26, pleaded guilty in October to a single count of sexual abuse of a minor. A federal judge on Monday sentenced him to two years in prison.
Vaughan, a former reservist, lived and worked at Whiteman Air Force Base near Knob Noster while his wife was deployed to Afghanistan from February through early September 2011.
According to federal court records, Vaughan had illegal sex that summer with three underage girls who worked for him, babysitting the couple’s daughter.
“I understand the serious consequences of my actions,” Vaughan told the judge before hearing his sentence. “I am full of remorse.”
According to court records, Vaughan’s wife divorced him after she returned from Afghanistan and won custody of their daughter.
