Searchers found the body of a missing jogger Saturday behind a housing subdivision in south Overland Park, police said.

The body of Raheel Morani, 24, was located in a heavily wooded area near 164th Street and Quivira Road.

Morani was reported missing about 8:30 p.m. Thursday after he had gone running. He had set out from near 162nd Street and Switzer Road at 5:30 p.m. but did not return home.

Overland Park police detectives were still on the scene Saturday night. Department spokeswoman Michelle Koos said police were pursuing all avenues of inquiry, but had not determined a cause of death or whether foul play was involved.

An autopsy is scheduled.

Koos said she thought Morani was still in his jogging clothes, but there was no running path near where the body was found.

The site was just south of a housing subdivision under construction, called The Polo Fields.

Morani reportedly had been living at his parents’ home. On a Google social networking site he listed himself as having attended the University of Kansas and since 2009, the International American University College of Medicine, in the Caribbean. He was a 2006 graduate of Blue Valley West High School.
