The Chiefs today released backup offensive lineman Rich Ranglin.

Ranglin joined the Chiefs last season but was on the practice squad for much of the season. He was promoted to the active roster late in the season but didn’t play in a game.

Ranglin played for the Arena League’s Kansas City Command in 2011.
