MidAmerica Nazarene senior guard Rustin Dowd, formerly of Olathe South, was chosen a third-team NAIA All-American for the second straight season Tuesday by the National Basketball Coaches Association.

Dominique Rambo of SAGU (Texas) and Vic Moses of Georgetown (Ky.) were chosen co-players of the year. Columbia senior forward Jordan Dressler made the first team a year after receiving second-team honors.
Culver-Stockton senior guard Marshawn Norris was chosen to the second team and Evangel junior forward Zack Kleine made the third team.
Women’s All-America honors
Three players from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association received honorable mention on the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-America team: Washburn senior guard Laura Kinderknecht, the MIAA co-player of the year; Central Missouri junior forward Keuna Flax; and Pittsburg State sophomore forward Lizzy Jeronimus, formerly of Shawnee Mission West.
• Johnson County Community College sophomore guard DaShawn Harden, formerly of St. Thomas Aquinas, was chosen to the 10-player WBCA junior/community college All-America first team. Cavaliers sophomore forward Kathleen Brisbane, formerly of Sumner, received honorable mention.
