Updated: 2013-03-25T20:13:37Z

Kansas City’s regular spring curbside leaf and brush collection begins Monday.

Residents who live in the “central zone” from the Missouri River south to 63rd Street and west of Blue Ridge Cutoff, will have their leaves and brush picked up the week of April 1.

Residents south of 63rd Street will have their yard waste picked up the week of April 8. People living in the Northland will have their yard waste collection the week of April 15.

Residents can put out up to 20 bags (paper lawn debris sacks, not plastic) or bundles of yard waste on their regular trash day, at the curb by 7 a.m.

For more information on the yard waste rules, go to www.kcmo.org/trash.
