Suspicious package turns out to be part of geocache game

A suspicious package that led Kansas City police to cordon off a Northland intersection this morning turned out to be harmless.

Police described the package as a “geocache,” part of a global-positioning game.

The duct-taped package was discovered this morning at Missouri 152 and Platte Purchase in Kansas City, North.
