Kansas man robbed while taking out trash

He simply was taking out the trash on a cold Monday morning. The next thing he knew, he was being robbed.

The incident occurred shortly after 6:30 a.m. Monday in the 2500 block of East Lincoln, Wichita police Lt. Joe Schroeder said. The 38-year-old man was carrying his trash out when he was hit from behind and knocked down.

The suspects took a small amount of cash and personal identification from him and left in a gold Nissan Altima.

The victim told police the two suspects were a man and woman.
