A 19-year-old Peculiar, Mo., man died early this morning after being ejected from his vehicle that had become airborne in a crash.
The Missouri Highway Patrol identified the driver as Jacob E. Mills.
Mills was driving north on Missouri Route J south of Raymore about 1:15 a.m. when he lost control on an ice-covered road near East 195th Street, according to the highway patrol.
He ran off the left side of the road struck a culvert and became airborne. When it landed, the vehicle overturned onto its top and ejected Mills.
