The Sprint Center crowd of 19,256 for Saturday’s Big 12 tournament title game broke the single-session record of 19,160 set during Friday’s semifinals.

Saturday’s crowd was also a record for a sporting event at in the Sprint Center, breaking the previous record set Friday.

• The Big 12 men’s basketball tournament will return to the Sprint Center through 2016, and the conference has right of first refusal for events on tournament week in 2017 and 2018.
