I-35 lane closure delayed to Monday night

An overnight closing of northbound lanes of Interstate 35 for bridge work has been pushed back from tonight to Monday night.

The Kansas Department of Transportation says that, weather permitting, the northbound lanes from Kansas 33 in Franklin County to 175th Street in Johnson County will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday. During the closure, girders will be placed for the new Homestead Lane bridge.

A detour will be marked.
