Kansas man clubbed with cane during dominoes argument

Two men playing a game of dominoes at a house in the 1300 block of North Poplar got into an argument over the game at about 9 p.m. Thursday, Lt. Joe Schroeder said.

The argument became so heated one of the men grabbed a cane and hit the other on the head.

The 50-year-old victim suffered a severe cut over his eye, according to a police report. He was taken to Wesley Medical Center by ambulance for treatment.

He was not cooperative with police, Schroeder said, and claimed he did not know his attacker.

There were no other witnesses to the attack.
