Excelsior Springs man, 92, killed in car accident

An Excelsior Springs man died Saturday in a two-car accident on U.S. 69 in Clay County.

Theodore R. Thompson, 92, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that Thompson was attempting to turn north on U.S. 69 from Route MM when his vehicle was struck by a car driven by Joseph M. Boulware, 29, of Lawson, Mo.

Boulware suffered moderate injuries.
