Independence police seek help finding man they want to question

Independence police investigators are seeking to identify and locate a person who may have information about a Feb. 19 home invasion in the 8800 block of East Wilson Road.

A suspect assaulted a victim in his home by shooting him with a handgun, police said.

Investigators believe the person shown in a surveillance photo has information regarding this crime. Anyone with information about the man is being asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477, the Independence Police detective unit at 816-325-7330, or the Independence Police department at 816-836-3600.
