Man dies in KCK after being stabbed multiple times

Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating the death of a man who was stabbed multiple times this morning inside a northeast Kansas City, Kan. apartment building.

Police received a 911 call about 5:25 a.m. reporting gunfire in an apartment in the 300 block of North 18th Street, said Officer Tom Tomasic, a police spokesman.

When police arrived, officers found the man dead. He had multiple stab wounds, Tomasic said..

Police have detained a woman they believed called 911 and are questioning her about the death, he said.

Police are investigating whether the man’s death stemmed from a domestic disturbance.
