Trash pickup resumes Wednesday in KC

Updated: 2013-02-27T01:09:52Z

Collection of trash and recyclables in Kansas City will resume Wednesday after being suspended because of the winter storm.

But collection will be one day late for the rest of the week. Residents whose trash day normally is Tuesday will have Wednesday pickup and so on.

Residents who did not receive trash collection last week may set up to four bags at the curb without tags.

The city’s bulky item, illegal dumping and dead animal collection services remain suspended so those workers can be assigned to snow removal.
