Gladstone declares weather emergency

Updated: 2013-02-25T19:34:05Z

Gladstone has declared a winter weather emergency in anticipation of the massive snowfall expected to hit the region tonight.

Roads will become unsafe with hazardous driving conditions. Residents are encouraged to stay off the roads and refrain from parking on streets so snow plows can pass.

Parking is prohibited on emergency snow routes. Vehicles must be equipped with snow tires or chains. Stalled vehicles along emergency will be towed at the owner’s expense.
