Teen hit by vehicle in KC

A 14-year-old boy suffered serious injuries Saturday after being struck by a vehicle near 10400 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard, Kansas City police said.

Police accident investigators reported that a blue Nissan Altima struck the boy about 2:45 p.m. as it traveled north on Blue Ridge. Police reported that his injuries were “non-life threatening.”

The cause of the crash remained under investigation Saturday evening.
