KC budget hearing still on schedule for Saturday

Kansas City municipal government’s public budget hearing will go forward as scheduled on Saturday.

The hearing will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Kansas City Police Department’s South Patrol Division, 9701 Marion Park Drive. The public should use the station’s main entrance.

During the budget hearing, City Council members and staff will present information and listen to public input on the fiscal year 2013-14 submitted budget. The council will approve a final budget in later March.
