The university cancelled classes on Friday, citing road conditions that remain hazardous following a winter storm that hit hard on Thursday. University officials expect classes to resume on Monday.
Chancellor Brady Deaton says the road conditions may make it difficult for many to get to campus. He says the closure is out of concern for the safety of faculty, staff and students.
