Summit Fair in Lee’s Summit adding more retail, hair salons

Summit Fair in Lee’s Summit is filling about 10,000 square feet with new tenants in the next few months.

•  Loft, women’s clothing and accessories and a sister store to Ann Taylor, plans an April opening at 860 N.W. Blue Parkway, Suite T, next to Coldwater Creek.

•  Francesca’s, a women’s clothing and accessory chain store, will open in July at 860 N.W. Blue Parkway, Suite L.

•  Shear Madness Haircuts for Kids, a unique hair salon for children featuring mounted car styling chairs for younger children or PlayStations at the styling stations for older children, along with TVs, plans a May opening at 950 N.W. Blue Parkway, Suite B. The salon also will have a children’s retail section called Youniquey Boutiquey.

•  Salon Ami, a locally-owned salon specializing in beauty and wellness with a holistic approach, also plans a May opening at 930 N.W. Blue Parkway, Suite J. It also has a location in Independence.

Summit Fair is a 500,000-square-foot development at Interstate 470 and U.S. The center, anchored by Macy’s and JCPenney, also includes home furnishings, men’s and women’s fashion, fast-casual eateries, and full-service restaurants.
