An 'upscale' hookah lounge opens in Midtown

Al-Amir Hookah Lounge has opened at 3535 Broadway. The hookah lounge has a black light VIP area, a bar serving non-alcoholic drinks like teas and smoothies, games like PlayStation, as well as a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. The space was formerly home to such operations as NuNu’s Café, Graffiti Grill and Café Trio space.

Larry Gaines of Block & Company Inc. Realtors handed the negotiations for the landlord.
