Standoff in Northeast KC ends with empty residence

Kansas City police ended an Operation 100 in the Northeast area after clearing the residence about 7 p.m. and not finding the suspect inside.

Police surrounded a house near North Denver and Norledge avenues about 2:45 p.m. believing an assault suspect was inside.
