Kansas City police are investigating after a man’s body was discovered this morning in a roadside ditch in south Kansas City.

Police said there were no obvious signs of foul play and that the person may be an elderly man who lived in the area and did not return home as expected last night.

The discovery was made by city workers about 8:15 a.m. in the 300 block of East Blue Ridge Boulevard.
