KCK police on scene of homicide

Kansas City, Kan., police were on the scene of a fatal shooting Monday afternoon near 29th Street and State Avenue.

The shooting was reported about 12:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of North 29th Street.

Arriving officers reported the male victim had been shot in the head. A detailed description of two suspects seen leaving the area was not available.
