A reward of $3,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the persons responsible for knocking over and damaging at least 31 headstones in three Shawnee cemeteries last week.

Reward offered in cemetery vandalism

The reward is offered by the Catholic Cemeteries of Northeast Kansas and the city of Shawnee. St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery was among those hit between Friday evening and Saturday morning. The others, Pleasant View and Shawnee cemeteries, are owned by the city.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 913-631-2155.
