Daniel Webster Jr. has been named deputy district director for the Small Business Administration’s Kansas City district office.

Webster will be responsible for managing SBA programs in 89 counties served by the Kansas City office and the Springfield, Mo., office. The position had been vacant since David Ross was promoted to district director, the SBA said.

Webster served in the Army as a commissioned officer for seven years.
